The Université Lyon 1 is engaged in an ambitious policy of technological and pedagogical innovation since 2002.

Inspired by the fusion of 2 existing services (University Service for Pedagogy and the
more technically-oriented PRACTICE), the nascent service ICAP promotes quality and innovation in the areas of teaching, learning and new technologies for education.

Our MISSION

Serving the Faculties of Science, Health and Sports, ICAP acts to :

- make available new tools for teaching
- accompany professors in the transition to interactive teaching
- invent and test new teaching technologies
- evaluate the success of teaching innovations

Our skills

The service ICAP manages Spiral, the web-based course management system which was developed at Lyon 1 and is constantly evolving to respond to technical headways and the teaching innovations of our professors.
