Research team : Modèles et Outils en ingénierie des Connaissances pour l'Apprentissage Humain Name : Acronym : Additional address : Address : Postal code : City : Website : Research team manager : Number of members : Description :The main issues covered by MOCAH concern: • The design of a methodology and tools for creating serious games (a framework for developers, tools for adapting the serious game for teachers) • The diagnosis of learner activities in problem solving activities and the learner cognitive modeling • The development of authoring tools dedicated to the creation of exercises compliant with the international standard IMS QTI • The qualification of educational resources by semantic metadata, Several software tools have been developed or are under development. They concern mainly: • The diagnosis of learning activities in mathematics exercises, in serious games and in simulation environments • An editorial chain for generating pattern of exercises and courses based on IMS-QTI standard we have extended (extension adopted by IMS consortium) has been developed. Our research has also resulted in several more specific applications, for initial training (How?, Lingot, Diane, Dongeons & Radon) or vocational training (Plastur, Play & Cure). Finally, the team participated actively in developing the application profile LOM.fr which is the French standard for describing learning resources.
